Your tasks:
The Country Manager – Japan will be responsible for overseeing all operations of Güntner’s brand office in Japan. This leadership role involves developing and executing strategic plans to grow market share, managing key client relationships, ensuring operational excellence, and representing Güntner’s brand in the Japanese market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial refrigeration or related industries, proven leadership skills, and deep knowledge of the Japanese market.
- Strategic Leadership & Business Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to achieve sales, profitability, and market share goals in Japan.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial refrigeration and HVAC sectors.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Sales & Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee the sales team to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term partnerships.
- Operational Management:
- Manage the Japan branch office, including budgeting, forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and Güntner’s global policies.
- Oversee delivery, logistics, and after-sales service to maintain high operational standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Set performance objectives, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Brand Representation:
- Act as the primary representative of Güntner in Japan, promoting the company’s values, products, and solutions.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and associations to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the Asia Pacific regional team and global headquarters to align strategies and share best practices.
- Provide regular reports on market performance, sales, and operational metrics to senior management.
