About Us: Güntner Mexico, a global leader in heat transfer technology for refrigeration, process cooling, and HVAC applications, is looking for a driven Jr. Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
The Role
In this entry-level position, you will provide remote technical assistance to customers via phone, email, and Augmented Reality (AR) tools. You will be the go-to person for diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial controllers and sensors, guiding clients through equipment configuration and integration (including BACnet and Modbus protocols), identifying spare parts, and evaluating warranty coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remote Troubleshooting: Diagnose technical failures and provide real-time solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure effective issue resolution.
- CRM Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all support cases.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to Engineering and Quality departments to enhance product performance.
- Technical Mastery: Stay up-to-date with Guntner’s evolving product line and support technologies.
- Warranty Oversight: Review and process equipment warranty claims.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Advanced conversational English is mandatory (Multicultural environment).
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience in customer-oriented technical support.
- Technical Savvy: Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and complex technical documentation.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service orientation, high attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Travel Readiness: Valid Visa and Passport required.
