Main Task:

  • Design, prepare, and deliver engaging corporate German language training sessions tailored to employees at various levels from Basic to Advance, focusing on business communication, vocabulary, and workplace etiquette.  
  • Develop specialized learning materials, modules, and curricula addressing specific industry needs (e.g., engineering, corporate business)
  • Assess employees' initial language proficiencies and track continuous progress through regular quizzes, oral evaluations, and formal assignments.
  • Create an interactive, inclusive, and professional virtual or in-person learning environment that motivates working professionals to actively practice.
  • Provide constructive feedback, personalized coaching, and extra support to participants struggling with specific grammatical concepts or pronunciation.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson tracking, and performance evaluations for internal HR and corporate reporting purposes.  
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to align language training milestones with international corporate expansion goals or overseas assignment requirements.
  • Translate various company documents, reports, contracts, manuals, and business correspondence accurately between Indonesian/English and German (and vice versa), ensuring appropriate industry-specific terminology and context (if needed)
  • Review, proofread, and polish translated materials from other departments to maintain professional corporate standards, tone, and accuracy (if needed)

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in German Language, German Studies, Linguistics, Education, or a related field. 
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching German as a foreign language, preferably in a corporate environment or adult education setting. 
  • Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in German with professional working proficiency in English.  
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using digital learning management systems (LMS) and virtual communication tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom).  
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, cross-cultural awareness, patience, adaptability, and strong organizational skills to manage busy professional schedules.
